Job summary

Highway Intelligent Traffic Solutions LLC in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Common Laborer to support construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure assets. The role requires physical labor, ability to read plans, and strong teamwork in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include on-call maintenance, site work, and collaborating with customers and contractors. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with valid driver's license and ability to work in all weather

• Provide your own transportation to and from work and/or be responsible for company vehicle.
• Proficient at troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficient in reading plans and schematic diagrams.
• Able to perform heavy physical work under varying weather.
• Effective communication with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with others.

• Complete and turn in required personal paperwork.

• Wear PPE, safety-toed boots, vest, gloves, and hard hat on site.

Compensation negotiable based on education and experience

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Provide your own transportation to and from work and/or be responsible for company assigned vehicle if provided and typically report to work at the job site.
• Proficient at troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficiently read plans and schematic diagrams.
• Perform heavy physical work, often under adverse weather conditions.
• To communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with others.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, and TRAINING:

• Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license.
• Must maintain a valid medical card if you have a CDL driver’s license and be insurable under Company policies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work at heights over 20 feet.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
