Orca Brands is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineer to own the next generation of consumer products. You will shape entire product lines from day one, with ownership across design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.

You’ll collaborate with industrial designers, drive DFM, and work with factories both overseas and in the US to deliver high-quality items to shelves quickly. Startup environment, fast pace, and multi-hat roles.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from a top-tier US engineering university.
• Strong CAD skills and solid DFM fundamentals.
• Hands-on prototyping and testing experience — you're comfortable in a shop, not just at a desk.
• A builder mindset: bias toward action, extreme ownership, and a demonstrated ability to move fast.
• Comfort with ambiguity — we're a startup, and you'll wear multiple hats.

Responsabilidades

• Design new consumer products end-to-end, from concept through mass production.
• Conduct product teardowns and reverse-engineer competitive products to inform our designs.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate — fast cycles are how we win.
• Collaborate closely with industrial designers to turn concepts into manufacturable products.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and partner directly with factories, both overseas and in the US, to bring high-quality consumer products to life.
• Solve real engineering problems across multiple categories: power tools, hair tools, and home products.
