Job summary

Binny's Beverage Depot in Rockford, IL is seeking a Part-time Store Associate to assist customers, handle cash, stock shelves and maintain clean, safe store conditions. You will work with managers and fellow staff to follow policies and provide excellent service.

The role requires 21+ years old, ability to work evenings/weekends, and skills in cash handling, customer service, and safety procedures. Training in alcohol may be required as part of compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Able to count cash and make change accurately.
• Able to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
• Able to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
• Able to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Assist in developing sales, maintaining productivity levels and providing superior customer service, while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the store. Work as part of a team, following the directions of managers and supervisors, while adhering to the policies and procedures explained in the Employee Handbook.

Compensation and Benefits

• Part-Time Store Associates $16.25-$17.00 based on experience and availability
