Job summary

Relativity Space is building the Terran R rocket and a cutting-edge factory, offering engineers hands-on roles to shape hardware and processes. The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into reality, owning the build of Terran R’s primary structures and enabling rapid iteration through collaboration and real-time feedback.

As an integration and test contributor, you will support build sequencing, BOMs, and documentation while working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality hardware

Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience through labs, projects, internships, or extracurricular hardware teams (e.g., rockets, robotics, Formula SAE)
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
  • Curious and self-motivated, with a track record of taking initiative and driving tasks forward
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly

Responsibilities

  • Assist integration and testing of rocket subassemblies with guidance from experienced engineers.
  • Assist the development of mBOMs, work orders, and build flows for repeatable integration.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve integration challenges and ensure quality.
  • Support scalable processes and documentation across ERP, MES, and QMS systems.
  • Gain exposure to structures, fluids, avionics while hands-on with hardware in a fast-paced setting.
