Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support the LSO test operations in Van Horn, TX. You will manage maintenance plans, define preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hardware issues, and drive improvements for the test stands used in engine development and qualification.

The role requires 4+ years in a testing environment, strong data analysis, and the ability to lead projects from concept through implementation. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in testing environment with focus on engineering and project management.
• Ability to lead projects from concept to full implementation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain test facility hardware and disassembly/assembly of mechanical components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair.
• Support readiness reviews and risk assessments to ensure safety compliance.
• Provide training and support for maintainability of systems.
