Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Integration Engineer for the Thrust Structure Integrated Assembly on the second shift. You will lead design reviews, author work instructions, and coordinate across multiple teams to ensure fast, high-quality integration of hardware.

Requires a BS in aerospace/mechanical/manufacturing eng, 2+ years building/testing hardware, and ability to own processes from design to test with a hands-on approach on site.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience building and testing hardware in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience authoring work instructions and/or test procedures to build and checkout interdisciplinary structural and fluid assemblies.
• Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel.
• Experience planning and test conducting hazardous operations.
• Self-starter who can define and own a process and roll it out with clear communication.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to, and take partial ownership of, the Thrust Structure Integrated Assembly.
• This includes secondary structures, fluids, avionics, engine installation, and test checkouts prior to S1 mate.
• Drive the integration effort through design reviews, work instruction creation, process and tooling development, and test.
• Provide hands-on floor support during build and test, resolving issues in real time and driving continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineering, Fluids Engineering, Production, Avionics, and Supply Chain to communicate schedule needs and drive deliveries.
• Problem-solve for non-compliance events during build and test, and manage solutions to completion.
• Author test procedures and act as test conductor to verify installed hardware health and build integrity.
