Job summary

Stoke Space is offering Summer 2027 internship opportunities across engineering teams (mechanical, test, avionics, manufacturing). As an intern, you will work on real, open-ended problems with a mentor and other engineers to apply knowledge and grow your skills through high-impact projects.

You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, be self-directed, and learn on the fly. Internships are onsite at Kent, Moses Lake, or Cape Canaveral.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer engineering or computer science.
• Exceptional command of engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on engineering experience through internships, personal projects, work, or teams.
• Ability to manage a complex technical project and take it through execution.
• Ability to learn and apply state-of-the-art techniques to technical projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work full-time, onsite for a minimum of 10-14 consecutive weeks starting in May 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support real, open-ended problems contributing to Stoke’s Nova program.
• Work with a mentor and other engineers to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Participate in engineering teams (mechanical, test, avionics, manufacturing).
• Produce hands-on engineering work and learn through high-impact projects.
