Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and be highly competent working with computers, controllers and running software programs.
• Experience working around hazardous materials or environments and respirator certification.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance in the future (U.S. citizenship or equivalent).
• Ability to perform precise manual tasks with good visual acuity and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and comply with written work instructions.
• Select sensors and electronic equipment to comply with work instruction documents.
• Configure software menus for calibration scale factors, filtering, sample rates, etc.
• Use knowledge of measurement sensors to troubleshoot data measurement systems from source to recording device.
• Light electronics repair including stripping wire, soldering, crimping, pinning and depinning connectors.
• Calibrate sensors such as pressure transducers.
• Perform rocket engine hot fire tests in accordance with specifications.
• Travel is not a regular part of the job.
