Life Time, Inc. in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a friendly Rock Climbing Instructor to provide engaging instruction, promote safety, and help members develop climbing skills and fitness.

You will deliver guidance with enthusiasm and uphold the Life Time Way. You will lead classes and events, monitor the climbing area for safety, maintain the space and member files, and help create welcoming experiences for climbers of all levels.

Formación

• High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structure.
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire.
• Complete Life Time On-Demand Learning Requirements (Kids and Rock Wall) prior to first day of work.

Position Summary

Provides general climbing instruction and guidance in a fun, enthusiastic, and safety-focused environment. Encourages members and guests to further develop their climbing abilities and physical fitness. Grows and maintains impactful connections with members. Provides excellent customer service and climbing instruction that exemplify the Life Time Way.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of the climbing area

Position Requirements

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structure
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of climbing experience
• Belay certification

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.25 and pays up to $18.25, based on experience and qualifications.
