Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a climbing instructor to provide engaging and safe guidance in a fun gym environment.

You will encourage members to grow their climbing abilities and fitness while delivering excellent customer service in line with the Life Time Way. The role involves demonstrating correct equipment use, leading classes and events, maintaining the climbing area, and handling member waivers and files.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structure.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Complete Life Time On-Demand Learning Requirements (Kids and Rock Wall) prior to first day.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate correct use of climbing equipment and facility features.
• Monitor climbing area to ensure safety procedures are followed by climbers and spectators.
• Assist with leading rock climbing classes, events, and Open Wall.
• Maintain cleanliness of the climbing area.
• Maintain member files and waiver forms.
