Job summary

H&K Group, Inc.’s Hilltop Quarry is seeking a Rock Truck Driver to join our team. The driver operates straight or articulated rubber-tired rock trucks with hydraulically powered beds to transport and dump material. A CDL is not required, and safety, detail-orientation, and teamwork are valued traits.

The role emphasizes completing pre/post trip inspections, maintaining trucks, and supporting production goals in a heavy civil setting. We offer strong benefits and growth training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• Driver’s license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to fit test & utilize PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Performs pre and post trip inspection of truck daily and fills out inspection sheets.
• Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals.
• Moves levers to raise and tilt truck bed to dump material.
• Performs routine maintenance on truck such as lubrication and cleaning.
• Cross trained to assist with maintenance when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
