Job summary

H&K Group, Inc. Easton Quarry seeks a Rock Truck Driver/Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role transports material with rubber-tired rock trucks and assists in on-site repairs and maintenance; CDL is not required.

This full-time position is based at Easton Quarry, PA, with competitive pay and strong benefits. You will follow MSHA safety policies, perform pre/post trip inspections, and help keep equipment in top condition while supporting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent training/experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Mechanical/maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to solve problems and follow PPE guidelines.
• Must meet physical requirements for quarry work.

Responsibilities

• Operates rock truck (straight or articulated) and dumps material per load.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and completes daily sheets.
• Drives safely to meet production goals and transports materials.
• Raises/tilts truck bed to dump material as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.
• Follows company policies and MSHA safety rules at all times.
• Assists with maintenance when required by the team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Perform pre and post trip of equipment every day and fill out daily inspection sheets.
• Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate rock truck.
• Drives safely and efficiently to transport material and achieve production goals.
• Moves levers to raise and tilt truck bed to dump material.
• Performs routine maintenance on rock truck such as lubricating and cleaning.
• Perform all work following company policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintenance when needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered Verbal and written communication skills Mechanical/maintenance experience Problem solving Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
