Aggregate Resource Industries, Inc. is seeking Rock Drill Operator Apprentices to safely operate hydraulic rock drills across quarries, mines, and development sites in the United States.

The role requires a willingness to travel, mechanical aptitude, and a drive to progress within a stable, growth-oriented company. Candidates should have hands-on construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work long hours with overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous hands-on experience in construction is required.
• Mechanical aptitude: Demonstrated ability to work with tools, perform basic maintenance, and understand equipment functions.
• Driving requirements: Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years and no DUIIs.

Responsibilities

• Drill operation: Operates hydraulic drills on mines, quarries, and development sites.
• Equipment maintenance: Performs daily maintenance for safe operation.
• Pre-operation inspections: Conducts safety checks per policy.
• Hole quality assurance: Inspects holes to meet specs.
• Progress communication: Updates Project Managers on progress.
