Job summary

RadNet in New York is seeking a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant to support MRI safety and patient care in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will coordinate with MRI technologists, radiologists, and administrative staff to ensure accurate safety protocols and smooth operations during exams.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least one year of medical setting experience, plus completion of an approved MR Technologist

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff to ensure MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate safety, assist with MRI safety, coil positioning, screening and observation during exams.
• Support technologists with setup of coils, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient information and property in line with policies and HIPAA requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
