Job summary

RadNet is seeking a ROCC (Remote Operations Command Centers) Technical Assistant to join our radiology team. You will support MRI safety, assist MRI technologists, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure accurate patient care in a high‑volume setting.

Responsibilities include setting up coils, scheduling maintenance, safeguarding PHI and medications, and maintaining professional interactions with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification.
  • At least one year experience in medical setting.
  • Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, public relations and verbal and written communication.
  • Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
  • Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
  • Support technologists with procedures as needed; includes set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite.
  • Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information on site.
  • Safeguard medications on site in line with policy and law.
  • Respect company property including cash and patient information on site or patient portals.
  • Respond to others professionally toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:
