Job summary

Diligent Robotics is seeking a Manufacturing Reliability Engineer to own production test for our robots at the contract manufacturer. You’ll design and run robust end-to-end test protocols, provision fleets of robots for production, and own the KPIs that define production quality.

This on-site role in Milwaukee requires collaboration across software, hardware, operations, and product engineering teams; relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production/test engineering for electro-mechanical products (robotics, medical devices, consumer electronics, or similar).
• Experience owning E2E production test processes and provisioning at a contract manufacturer (on-site preferred).
• Deep familiarity with test protocol development: specification writing, fixture design, automated tests, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test process for production lines and gating criteria.
• Design and operate provisioning flows (imaging, firmware deployment, configuration) and related tooling.
• Own KPIs (FPY, cycle time, test coverage) and drive improvements to meet throughput and quality targets.
• Architect and maintain automated test frameworks, harnesses, and test rigs at the CM site.
