Job summary

FieldAI’s Irvine team is building risk-aware, field-ready AI systems for robotics deployments. You will design and build scalable test infrastructure and automation, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with engineering teams to raise reliability and coverage across simulation and real-world validation workflows. The role centers on Python tooling, Linux environments, debugging, and improving test throughput to help FieldAI ships dependable robotics solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, test infrastructure, or automation roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience building testing frameworks, tools, or developer-facing systems.
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on system quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable test infrastructure and automation systems.
