Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Robotics Test Engineer in Austin to drive hands-on testing of core robotics software for inventory orchestration and order fulfillment. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment on Symbot’s mobile robot platform, contributing to end-to-end verification across hardware and software components.

The role requires experience in robotic testing, scripting, data analysis, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience testing complex robotic systems is a plus.
• Hands-on testing of robotic software is required.
• Ability to parse data logs and analyze results.

Responsibilities

• Own design, implement and run software tests for mobile robot drive and pick n' place capabilities.
• Develop simulation-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing for verification of robot behaviors.
• Perform software integration testing of systems and subsystems.
