Persona AI, Inc. is seeking a Robotics Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Software team in a high-impact role bridging robotics, controls, and XR.

You will work on the Teleoperation stack, optimize data paths, and ensure low-latency, robust communication between the robot and operator. The ideal candidate has a PhD, MSc, or BS in Computer Science or Robotics, 5+ years of software experience, and strong Rust and Python skills, plus deep Linux, networking, and hardware SDK integration

Qualifications

• PhD, MSc, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software experience with a strong systems engineering background

Responsibilities

• Build reliable, debuggable software bridging controls and XR.
• Create low-latency data streaming pipelines over real-world transports.
• Develop systems supporting motion retargeting and robot control.
• Monitor metrics and alerting infrastructure for a growing fleet.
• Optimize rendering pipelines for high-fidelity operator feedback with low latency.
