Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with PLC and robotics experience to support a highly automated plastics manufacturing operation. This on-site role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and robotics support to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with AutomationDirect PLCs, and the ability to read schematics. On-site day shift with growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (AutomationDirect preferred).
• Hands-on experience with robotics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support robotic integration, EOAT functionality, and automation within injection molding processes.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (AutomationDirect).
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, and controls.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment downtime.
• Support and maintain injection molding machines and related automation.
• Repair EOAT (end-of-arm tooling) and assist with robotic integration.
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit, and electrical components.
• Assist with mechanical repairs including conveyors, pumps, and production equipment.
• Document maintenance work in CMMS or internal systems.
• Communicate with production and leadership to minimize downtime and improve performance.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
