Job summary

CBRE Robotics Technician in Oklahoma is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic, mechanical, and robotic automation equipment and systems across material handling operations.

You'll work with machine operators, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and support safe, reliable system functionality in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and test complex manufacturing systems to maintain process efficiency.
  • Review technical specs and perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of mechatronic systems.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and repair large equipment to prevent problems and failures.
  • Work with machine operators to detect equipment problems, identify malfunctions, and verify system problems.
  • Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
  • Lead and set expectations for safe work practices.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems on robotics equipment.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support including diagnosing and repairing complex problems within the fleet.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot control components, sensors, servo drives, and encoders.
  • Utilize knowledge of Ethernet communication modules.
  • Assist Service Technicians repairing and maintaining material handling equipment.
  • Complete preventive maintenance routines, documentation and procedures.
  • Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
  • Enter downtime data in daily log and complete sPM sheets.
  • Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
  • Enter email communication and data entry for database.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
  • Deliver outputs by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Robotics Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic, mechanical, and robotic automation equipment and systems. This job is part of the Material Handling job function. They are responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.

What You’ll Do:
  • Install, repair, and test complex manufacturing systems to maintain process efficiency.
  • Review technical specifications and perform scheduled and preventive maintenance of mechatronic systems, modules, and components.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and repair large equipment and systems to prevent problems and failures.
  • Work with machine operators to detect equipment problems, identify malfunctions, and verify system problems.
  • Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
  • Leads and sets expectations for safe work practices.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems to Robotics System.
  • Provides advanced troubleshooting support including diagnosing and repairing complex problems within the fleet.
  • Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots control components, photo eyes, proximity sensors, servo drives, techs, and encoders.
  • Utilizes knowledge of the Ethernet communication modules.
  • Assists Service Technicians repairing and maintaining material handling equipment.
  • Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures.
  • Performs battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
  • Enters downtime data in daily log, complete sPM sheets.
  • Tracks and stores the department's inventory, including spare parts.
  • Enters e-mail communication and date entry for database.
  • Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
