Job summary

Actalent is hiring Safety Ambassadors (Field Robot Operators) for an autonomous delivery program in Texas. This contract role offers on‑site work in Buda with multiple shifts and immediate start options.

You will inspect robots, support field operations, and engage with the public while ensuring safety and reliable delivery routes. Candidates should be safety‑conscious, independent in the field, and capable of handling batteries and basic maintenance.

• Perform battery swaps and basic field maintenance.
• Respond to incidents, technical issues, and public inquiries.
• Coordinate with remote operations teams to ensure route completion.
• Complete operational reports and provide feedback for improvements.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.

Schedule Options

Candidates must be available for one of the following shifts:

Front-End Shift

Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Weekend Shift

Friday - Sunday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Contract Details

• 3-Month Contract Assignment

What You’ll Do

• Partner with remote operations teams to ensure successful route completion
• Complete operational reports and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and members of the public

Physical & Environmental Requirements

This is an active field operations role. Candidates must be

comfortable:

• Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Spending up to 10 hours per day on the road
• Riding and working in delivery vehicles for extended periods
• Working in vehicles with limited air conditioning
• Standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift
• Safely handling batteries and operational equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Buda, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
