Job summary

mbsolutionsinc is seeking a robotics software engineer with a SECRET security clearance to join our DoD-focused team in the Washington, DC area. The role entails developing software control of robotic systems with real-time interfaces and contributing to the baseline boot code and OS loading processes.

Applicants must be US citizens with a minimum of a B.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics, and at least 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in related field.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Final DoD SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop software control of robotic systems using real-time sensing and actuating interfaces.
• Develop boot code to establish baseline robotic services and load OS and application code.
• Evaluate and apply advanced mathematical methods and algorithms in software solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems from documented requirements.
• Contribute input to software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
• Design, implement, and integrate software applications; utilize engineering methodologies for development, integration and production.
