Job summary

Lab37 Robotics is seeking a Robotics Software Engineering Intern to help build production software that interfaces with robotic hardware, controllers, and cloud services. You will work on frontend apps, on-robot services, and low‑level hardware communication under mentorship from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong programming fundamentals in modern languages (C++, Go, Python, Java, or Rust).
Experience building software via coursework, internships, research, or open‑source projects.

Responsibilities

Develop production software for robotic control and full‑stack systems under guidance from senior engineers.
Implement and test control algorithms, sensor integration, and low‑level hardware communication protocols.
Optimize software for embedded and real‑time constraints to ensure reliable robotic performance.
Build product features, internal tools, dashboards, and workflows used by engineering and operations teams.
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
