Mujin is hiring a Robotics Software Engineer - Integration to design, develop, and deploy software for automated material handling using the Mujin OS. You will implement algorithms for robotic manipulation and build real-time communication with industrial arms and AGVs in customer environments.

The role emphasizes collaborating with engineers, developers, and project managers to deliver scalable, reliable robotics solutions across production and distribution sites.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field OR Bachelor’s with 2+ years of robotics/systems software experience.
• 3+ years of industry experience in robotics or systems software engineering.
• Solid understanding of linear algebra, 3D geometry and their robotics applications.
• Advanced knowledge of networking stacks, protocols, and async I/O.
• Proficiency with Linux development and debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robotic system software using C++/Python.
• Implement and integrate algorithms for manipulation tasks (picking, packing, material handling).
• Develop real-time communication modules with robot controllers and devices in C/C++.
• Create validation/verification tests via automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Build concurrent, performance-critical software systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot deployed robotic systems.
• Support customer-site configuration and optimization to meet project needs.
• Provide technical integration support to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on robotics solutions.
• Tackle motion planning, control, and system design challenges for industrial robots.
