Job summary

NEURA Robotics is seeking a software engineer to advance cognitive robotics. You will develop and test high-quality C++ or Python code for real-time systems and collaborate with AI teams across our product development efforts.

In this role you will organize development projects, document efficient code, and help optimize complex algorithms for industrial applications while supporting colleagues to overcome challenges in a creative environment.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of C++ or Python.
• Expert knowledge of structured Software Development.
• Good Knowledge in Real Time compliant Software Development.
• Good Knowledge of creating UML-Diagrams.
• Excellent command of English, German language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document resource-efficient, well-structured code for cognitive robots.
• Develop functions and modules and test them for use in collaborative robots according to required norms/standards.
• Take responsibility as an essential team member in software development.
• Organize and execute development projects to optimize complex algorithms in product development.
• Demonstrate functionality with prototypes and test software to design final systems for industrial requirements.
• Assist colleagues to overcome challenges and foster creativity and openness.

• You support the control software and AI development team by developing and documenting resource efficiently optimized and well-structured code
• You develop functions and modules and test them for the use in collaborative robots according to the required norms/standards
• Take responsibility, you partake as an essential team member in the field of software development
• You organize and execute development projects on your own to help realizing and optimizing complex algorithms in our product development
• You cover all steps from demonstrating the functionality with a prototype and test software to designing and elaborating the final system fulfilling challenging industrial requirements
