Job summary

NEURA Robotics is seeking a Software Engineer to connect robots with fleet management systems and our internal software platform. You will build the integration layer across robot software, cloud services, fleet orchestration, and customer FMS environments.

You will implement VDA5050, MQTT, REST/gRPC, WebSocket, and related protocols, and support localization, geofencing, map distribution, telemetry pipelines, and multi-robot task allocation.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant robotics/software engineering experience a plus.
• Strong experience in software system integration for robotics or fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Integrate mobile robots and fleet systems with internal software platform services.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between robot software and fleet management systems.
• Implement and validate VDA5050, MQTT, REST/gRPC, WebSocket, and related fleet protocols.
• Support localization, geofencing, map distribution, robot status reporting, and multi-robot task allocation.
