Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Research Engineer to join the Research Group in Sunnyvale. You will advance physical AI for end-to-end autonomous driving and robotics, collaborating with leading scientists and engineers to publish, prototype, and deploy research results.

You will work with data collection hardware, simulation environments, and ML workflows to deliver scalable autonomy solutions for real-world systems, with opportunities for impactful contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience with humanoid or robotics data collection hardware and related design/usage.
• Experience building large-scale robotic simulation environments for RL training.
• Experience processing human data, retargeting, pose estimation, and SLAM.

Responsibilities

• Support robotic and data collection hardware setup and design the mechatronic system for customized needs.
• Construct robotic simulation environments at scale and use them for RL training.
• Process human data for robotic use cases.
• Collaborate with Research Scientists and interns on high-quality research publications for top-tier conferences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on ADAS, data, and simulation to deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles and neural simulation/generation tools.
