Job summary

Defexrobotics is seeking a contract video producer in San Francisco to document a robotics prototype and explain why engineering work matters. Qualifications

• Portfolio showing camera work and editing ability.
• Ability to plan shoots and handle lighting, sound, filming and editing for a small production.
• Clear writing and interest in engineering to ask questions about unclear details.

Responsibilities

• Plan one half-day shoot per month around an experiment or milestone.
• Deliver two edited short videos per month using existing footage.
• Prepare captions, social exports, stills, and four supporting posts or captions.
• Explain technical details with founders and show differences between successful trials and repeatable results.
• Maintain an organized footage library and editable project files.
