Job summary

TekWissen Group in Novi, MI seeks a Robot Programmer A for a 2-month on-site assignment. You will analyze test data, assemble electrical systems, calibrate and repair equipment, and collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues.

You will plan operations, operate test devices, perform quality inspections, and prepare engineering documentation to support development and testing efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated manufacturing or robotics environments.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic testing principles.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering data and drawings.
• Capable of hands-on testing and debugging of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data.
• Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to identify, define, and solve problems.
• Modify prototypes and systems to correct functional deviations.
• Plan methods and sequence of operations for developing and testing equipment.
• Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance under simulated conditions.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and report findings and recommendations.
• Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications for units.
• Evaluate proposals and design comments for safety and conformance to criteria.
• Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid state equipment.
• Perform supervisory duties and plan work for support personnel.
• Prepare project cost and time estimates.
• Provide technical assistance during construction and testing phases.
• Review and revise electrical engineering criteria as needed.
• Prepare contract modifications and coordinate plans during construction.
