Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Robot Programmer Fanuc for a leading automotive manufacturing organization in Wixom, Michigan. The role focuses on developing and modifying FANUC programs to meet GM GRS standards and customer requirements, plus supporting installation, commissioning, and production launches.

You will work with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot automation systems, and ensure safety and quality in all robotic operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3+ years of FANUC robot programming experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing and modifying programs using FANUC HandlingTool, SpotTool, ArcTool, PaintTool (as applicable).
• Proficiency in robot startup, commissioning, and debugging activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify FANUC robot programs in accordance with GM GRS standards and customer requirements.
• Program, configure, and optimize robotic applications including material handling, spot welding, arc welding, sealing, assembly operations, and machine tending.
• Support robot installation, startup, commissioning, and production launch activities.
• Troubleshoot and debug robot programs, communication networks, and integrated automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robotic systems meet safety, quality, and production standards.
