Job summary

Heritage Christian School is seeking a part-time Robotics Program Head Coach/Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. The role reports to the Robotics Program Director and focuses on supervising and coordinating all Robotics Program activities.

The position requires a high school diploma, with a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a Christian faith, strong mentoring, and excellent communication for working with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Christian with an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and align with HCS values and Employee Covenant.
• Experience working with school-aged students is desired.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and outreach to attract Robotics participants and coaches.
• Help lead and attend student/parent meetings.
• Recruit and train Robotics Program coaches.
• Ensure volunteers follow the HCS protocol and safety guidelines.
• Report behavioral concerns to Robotics Director within 12 hours and implement resolution plans.
• Coordinate and oversee competitions on campus and at off-site events.
• Organize meetings, practices, scrimmages and competitions; manage schedules and Open House displays.
