Job summary

Matic is hiring a Production Associate to participate in the build out and ramp up of our early production facilities in Mountain View, CA. This 6-month contract runs from September 14, 2026 to January 30, 2027, with shifts on a 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule.

The ideal candidate will work on electro-mechanical assemblies, follow SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely production.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering and design is advantageous.
• Hands-on ability to build electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and adapt to new environments.
• Open to schedule flexibility and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and systems on the production line using hand tools and equipment.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and professionally.
• Ensure timely completion of production tasks while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Analyze failed inventory for root cause and perform rework procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce scrap, or improve safety and quality of life.
• Design fixtures, equipment and processes if needed to implement improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production roadblocks.
