Job summary

Luminous Robotics, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Product Co-op/Intern to help shape how LUMI robots are used by deployment engineers in the field and by customers.

You will work across product management or product design tracks, collaborating with engineering, field ops, and customers to translate real-world constraints into usable dashboards and tools. This hands-on role offers ownership on production code or interfaces, mentorship from senior engineers, and potential path to a full-time

Qualifications

• Graduate student with interest in product management or product design.
• Background in CS/Engineering preferred to liaise with robotics engineers.
• Familiarity with product/design tooling (Figma, Jira, Linear).
• Experience with AI coding assistants for prototyping ideas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, deployment operators, and customers to define requirements and priorities for product features and tooling.
• Conduct user research with field technicians and stakeholders to understand workflows and constraints.
• Write PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria (PM) or wireframes, prototypes, and flows (Design).
• Use AI assistants to prototype ideas or explore feasibility before coding.
