Job summary

Machina Labs is offering an internship for a Robotics Process Engineer Intern in California. You will support RoboForming by handling CAD manipulation, generating robot tool paths, and analyzing forming data.

Qualifications

Pursuing or has a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience with CAD software in academic projects or prior work.
Familiarity with CAM, tool path generation, or basic robot programming.

Responsibilities

Assist in generating and modifying CAD models for RoboForming compatibility.
Convert CAD designs into robot tool paths using internal software stack.
Analyze process data and 3D scan results to assess part quality and suggest improvements.
Design and execute DOE experiments to optimize forming techniques and tool paths.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to improve workflows and support goals.
Document processes, results, and analyses for ongoing improvements.
