Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking a Plant Manager to lead the Glen Cove, NY manufacturing facility. You will own day-to-day operations across production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and EHS, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

You’ll be hands-on on the floor, quickly diagnosing issues, and translating insights into lasting corrective actions, while aligning floor activity with boardroom strategy and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience with plant-floor leadership.
• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Hands-on electromechanical assembly experience (fits, harnessing, wiring, actuators, sensors).
• Lean/TPS fluency and continuous-improvement habit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations across production, quality, engineering, supply chain, OpEx, HR, finance and EHS.
• Lead on-floor operations with real-time problem solving and corrective actions.
• Set the standard for manufacturing discipline and scaling quality at volume.
• Drive capacity planning, new production cell launches, and insourcing when needed.
• Represent manufacturing in cross-functional, leadership, and stakeholder meetings.
