Job summary

HireArt is recruiting a Robot Operator to join a customer facility near Lexington, KY. You will operate robotic prototypes in a live production environment and collect data to improve robotic performance.

You’ll communicate technical observations to remote engineering teams, follow strict procedures, and work onsite at a customer site. This is a full-time, 12-month contract with flexibility in schedules and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to work for extended periods using a VR headset and safely operate robotic systems.
• Ability to perform focused, repetitive tasks with quality and detail.
• Strong written communication to document technical observations for remote teams.
• Must follow strict safety, cleanliness, and access protocols in production.
• Ability to perform physical requirements, including standing and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Linux and office productivity tools.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• U.S. citizenship required for this role.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Flexible to varied shifts and travel occasionally for onboarding or events.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate physical and simulated robotic prototypes for extended periods.
• Execute recurring customer tasks with high consistency and collect data.
• Operate simulated robotic systems for training and data collection when needed.
• Document task outcomes and provide clear written feedback to remote teams.
• Represent the company professionally while onsite at the customer facility.
• Follow customer-site safety and access protocols.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on robots.
• Maintain equipment and work areas for safe operation.
• Participate in projects to improve tools and workflows.
