Job summary

Skild AI Inc. is seeking Research Scientists to lead the development of next-generation techniques for robotic systems. You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to advance our research strategy and translate findings into impactful applications.

The role requires a track record of fundamental, scalable research with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in robotics and machine learning.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience in conducting research.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one deep learning library.
• Publications at top-tier ML, robotics, or CV conferences.
• Deep technical knowledge in DL, RL, robotics, or computer vision.
• Deep understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
• Experience working with robot systems.
• Experience with large-scale model training and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop new algorithms and methods for training general-purpose robot foundation models.
• Conduct cutting edge research across perception, robotics, RL/IL, ML, and related fields.
• Work with large-scale systems and large-scale model training.
