Job summary

Persona AI, Inc. is hiring a Robotics Machine Learning Engineer in Pensacola, FL or Houston, TX to drive our ML strategy for humanoid robots used in heavy industry. You will contribute from the ground floor to shape the design and development of Persona’s humanoid robot platform.

You will work with a fast-paced team to design, test, and deploy machine learning pipelines, ensure robust performance, and push the boundaries of robotics research in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning applied to robotics.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Experience with cloud computing to develop models and store data (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of state-of-the-art robot learning research (behavior cloning, RL, world models).
• Capable of writing high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and development of the Persona ML software stack for manipulation, navigation, locomotion, and perception.
• Develop and execute a plan for ML model development, staying current with research.</br>
• Build, test, and deploy software, ML pipelines, and data collection pipelines.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance in real-world settings.
• Collaborate with universities and other companies.
• Grow and nurture the ML and autonomy teams.
