Job summary

Experis is seeking a Robotics Mechatronics Test Engineer, Hardware Verification & Validation to join our team in Massachusetts. You will create and execute test programs, plans, and methods for subsystem verification tests and system verification to support new robotics technology and product development.

You will design and operate test benches, select instrumentation, process data, and turn measurements into actionable insights to drive design decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems.
• Experience in test development within a high ambiguity environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify proper test plans and equipment needed based on program development stages.
• Design, commission, and operate test benches for robotic systems including actuators, batteries, sensors, cameras.
• Perform complete system verification and validation testing to ensure successful development of new technologies and products in robotics and automation.
• Process and analyze test data to determine performance metrics.
• Create test reports that compare results against specifications, to feed back into design cycle.
• Support new technology and product development programs.
• Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines.
