Job summary

Halo, a technology company building the future of haircare, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Cambridge, MA team onsite. You will own subsystems from concept through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative robotics solutions to market.

You will design, test, and iterate sub-assemblies, driving design forward with CFD insights and ergonomic considerations, while pushing for elegant, manufacturable solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD and mechanical design of complex robotics or consumer electronics, and direct ownership of subsystems
• Experience with all stages of the concept to production cycle (rapid prototyping, DFM, contract manufacturing)
• Experience bringing novel technology to market

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and iterate sub-assemblies from CAD to production-ready parts.
• Collaborate with mechanical, industrial design, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, users, and cross-functional teams.
• Push for elegant and effective solutions, challenge status quo, and drive design forward.
