Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a MFG Specialist Technician II to oversee the installation, maintenance, and fabrication of industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes hands-on machining, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation of production lines.

You will work with manual and CNC lathes/mills, read blueprints, and apply GD&T in a fast-paced facility in North Reading, MA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as maintenance electrician or mechanic in an industrial facility.
• English communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to read English instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, and production-related systems.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment, troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and drive systems; install wiring for power and control.
• Inspect production machines and perform preventive maintenance per plan.
• Set up manual and CNC lathes/mills for fabrication from drawings.
• Prepare maintenance reports and participate in continuous improvement.
