IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

As a Robotics Manufacturing Technician, you will work alongside a collaborative, cross‑functional team, gaining hands‑on experience across manufacturing, robotics, and research & development (R&D). This role offers exposure to advanced technologies including robotic microfactories, machine assembly, 3D printing, CNC and manual machining, and robotic system validation.

Technicians will play a vital role in building and testing Molg’s cutting‑edge microfactories and may be asked to specialize as the organization scales. This is a high‑impact role suited for individuals who enjoy solving technical challenges, working with advanced machinery, and helping shape the future of circular manufacturing. Duties will include but not limited to:

Manufacturing & Assembly

• Assembling and test robotic microfactory systems following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop habits around tool, material, and workstation organization for safe and efficient manufacturing.
• Perform quality assurance checks using defined protocols and documentation standards.
• Support development and testing of SOPs for new products and looking for continuous improvement across all processes.
• Assist with inventory tracking and storage of materials and finished goods.
• Shadow and support engineers during the R&D process for new products.
• Debugging and repairing circuit boards, proprietary tools, and pneumatic systems through soldering, inspection, and system testing.

3D Printing & Prototyping

• Execute 3D printing jobs from digital design files for prototypes and functional tools.
• Operate manual machines under supervision to support component fabrication.

Robotics & Systems Testing

• Conduct supervised pre‑deployment testing of robotic systems across automated demanufacturing workflows.
• Document test results and system performance accurately.

Deployment Support

• Assist in preparing microfactory systems for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and logistics.
• Support installation, reassembly, testing, and validation of microfactories at customer sites.
• Observe and participate in technical demonstrations and customer handover activities.

• This position is in a manufacturing environment and requires:
  • Standing for extended periods of time throughout the work shift.
  • Lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Climbing and working from ladders as needed.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and manual handling of materials.
  • Ability to perform tasks safely in a fast‑paced production setting.
• Some familiarity with manufacturing tools, 3D printing, or basic inspection instruments is a plus, and a willingness to get your hands on new equipment, including CNC machines, is all we ask.
