Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of design or manufacturing engineering experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical content.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles is required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve low-to-mid-volume manufacturing lines with BOMs, workflows, and work instructions.
• Provide production line support for day-to-day engineering issues.
• Design, document, procure, qualify, implement, and improve fixtures, tools, and equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing lines with PFMEA to validate critical tests used in production.
• Validate and qualify manufacturing equipment and processes to production status (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Provide support for sustaining and startup lines as needed.
• Conduct testing of software releases before deployment on the line.
• Drive continuous improvements in yield, cycle time, reliability, and cost.
