Skild AI Inc. is seeking a versatile Robotics Engineer to develop software for manipulation systems and deploy learning-based models on real robot setups. You will work closely with researchers and the ML team to build high-quality software for robotic hardware.

Ideal candidates have experience in controls, perception, planning, and a strong foundation in C++/Python, ROS/ROS2, and DL frameworks. Collaboration and scalability are emphasized in this role.

Formación

• BS/MS or higher in CS/Robotics/Engineering or related field
• Experience designing robotic manipulation systems and deploying software on real robots
• Experience with writing controllers and robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control, motion planning, SLAM)
• Proficiency in Python and at least one DL library (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
• ROS/ROS2 and simulators experience
• Publications at ML/robotics conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR)
• Experience designing custom robot hardware solutions
• RL or imitation learning experience
• Experience with CV algorithms and sensors (LiDAR, camera, 3D data)

Responsabilidades

• Design algorithms, models, and techniques for robotic manipulation tasks
• Design hardware and software systems for manipulation tasks
• Write controllers and perception stacks for real-world deployment
• Write production-level C++ and Python code for robotic platforms
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy state-of-the-art models on robots
• Continuously improve and optimize robotic software for performance, reliability, and scalability
