Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Robotics Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:30pm–6:30am) at our Carlisle facility. You will inspect, repair, and maintain automation machinery to ensure safe, reliable operation and optimal performance.

Responsibilities include repairing robotics, performing testing, maintaining records, diagnosing faults, and documenting maintenance activities. A Journeyman license and relevant electrical/mechanical knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Active Journeyman license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain site ABB robotics, GreyOrange conveyors and wrappers.
• Follow and execute basic functional testing procedures for equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner with adequate recordkeeping.
• Locate sources of problems by observing and monitoring the automation field; diagnose and make repairs.
• Document performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages, etc.
