Job summary

The Mom Project in California is seeking a Logistics Program Manager on a 12-month contract to oversee end-to-end PO execution for hardware-related programs. You will coordinate with Procurement, vendors, and Logistics Operations to ensure timely material delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics or supply chain, experience with PO workflows, and strong stakeholder communication. You will lead process improvements and help scale logistics for new programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
• 5+ years of experience managing end-to-end PO and procurement workflows.
• Experience in hardware, robotics, or manufacturing logistics environments.
• Experience with customs/import-export processes for hardware components.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, labor, material planning, and logistics cost analysis.
• Understanding of shipping, production, and supply chain regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and logistics reporting/dashboard tools.
• Ability to develop reports, communicate project status, and provide regular stakeholder updates.
• Basic mentoring and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End PO Management: Own and track purchase orders from creation through delivery, ensuring on-time performance.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as liaison between Procurement, vendors, and Logistics Operations.
• Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance and drive resolution to maintain material flow.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to accelerate material movement.
• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead logistics projects including supplier onboarding and warehouse routing.
• Reporting & Visibility: Maintain dashboards and provide status updates on PO health and milestones.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop contingency plans to protect delivery schedules.
