Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking an Inventory and Manufacturing Planner to own inventory control, configuration management, and production planning for robotic systems. You will build planning infrastructure and drive accuracy across ECO/MCO processes, MBOMs, and capacity models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• Experience with Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of materials management processes including inventory, purchasing, warehouse, and MRP.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
• Experience in contracting, demand management and planning/procurement.
• Experience with ECOs/MCOs and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce inventory control policies; drive accuracy via cycle counts and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize inventory levels and reduce E&O through proactive lifecycle management.
• Develop new inventory strategies that scale with program growth.
• Own ECOs and MCOs across supported programs.
• Build MBOMs with full configuration accuracy and traceability.
• Set up bills of distribution; align master data, routings, and resource rates.
• Create finite capacity production schedules considering constraints.
• Develop build schedules and release work orders for early NPI programs.
• Maintain capacity models; resolve bottlenecks via constraint analysis.
• Develop KPI dashboards and drive decisions with data.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma projects for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
