Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an instructor for Robotics and Electrical topics in Scranton, PA. The role involves delivering in-person and Microsoft Teams-based instruction, with emphasis on diverse learners and current industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • AAS degree in Robotics or Electrical required.
  • Minimum 18 credits in Electrical coursework.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience in corporate or higher education preferred.
  • Willingness to learn a Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities

  • Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in a classroom and/or virtual setting.
  • Thoroughly prepares and teaches all course lessons, considering diverse learners and industry regulations.
  • Provides support and guidance to students to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Maintains documentation and records, including syllabi, grades, attendance, and SLO reflections.
  • Fosters a professional classroom environment and encourages critical thinking.
  • Provides hands-on application of material to reinforce learning transfer.
  • Performs other duties as required by the Dean.
