Job summary

Gritt Robotics is seeking a full-time Facilities & Lab Technician to own the cleanliness, organization, and physical readiness of our hardware shop. This hands-on role supports a highly technical team in a fast-paced environment, with on-site duties and a focus on keeping tools, machines, and space in top shape.

The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, a no-task-beneath-me mindset, and the ability to manage deliveries, vendors, and basic inventory while collaborating with engineers

Qualifications

• Must keep clean, organized shop and work areas.
• Hands-on role in hardware and tooling environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in an industrial setting.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one; training provided.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Willing to handle deliveries, vendors, and logistics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep the hardware shop clean, organized, and in pristine condition daily.
• Arrange and maintain workstations, staging areas, and equipment zones for fast workflow.
• Care for and stage sensitive hardware (robots, cameras, LiDAR, tools).
• Manage basic inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; order replacements as needed.
• Maintain machine shop equipment and keep it in good working order.
• Run and manage 3D print queues, stock printers, and ensure production.
